Portal West has really fantastic coffee. I love the flavor each type of bean has. I will say it is very hard to find seating and can be very crowded but that’s because it is good! It’s not the best atmosphere for a coffee shop, feels crammed really, but they are limited on space. Probably not the best place to sit and study/work, but not the worst either. When the weather is warm there is some outside seating too.

This is hands down the best coffee shop I have ever been to. The drink offerings are elegant, creative, and delicious. They have gluten free options on pastries (the strawberry doodle was UNMATCHED, totally complimented my matcha drink). This is my new go to spot. Just wonderful. Service is gracious and kind with attention to detail. They are quick and efficient as well. I had a rough morning and this place really helped me turn my day around. Thank you! I'll be back!

really tasty scone with jalapeno and cheese! london fog is my bf’s first love🥰 though i prefer pistachio latte vibe is chill. 🪴 add vibrancy and life to the environment

Portal West is hands down the best coffee I have had in the Akron area. They do not over roast/burn their beans, which results in the most delicious flavors. Their customer service is also good - I am always greeted with a smile. I enjoy their seasonal drinks - this fall their marshmallow latte was what coffee dreams are made of!!

Such a nice and cute little spot! All the employees were very nice and friendly. They have very creative and yummy specialty drinks and their matcha is the perfect bright green color. I’m looking forward to coming back and sitting in for a while.

I came to came to Portal West to study off of the Drip Drive and have found a lovely environment that cares for its patrons. Everyone has a smile on their face and always willing to chat or give a helping hand. Nick and Michael, you are both superstars and I will return for some more delicious coffee! I can't thank you both enough for treating me with kindness and providing me with a great and safe place to study!

Love this coffee shop! Great drinks whether it’s a flat white, cappuccino or latte but wow I tried their seasonal marshmallow latte today and it did not disappoint!! They were able to make it with half the syrup which was really nice as I don’t typically get flavored drinks but wanted to try this. They homemake their marshmallow syrup and top it with a roasted marshmallow… I mean who says no to that. This latte was perfect! The amount of flavor was just right and it was so delicious and exactly what I had hoped for. Cute little shop to enjoy the drinks and we will definitely be back.

I’ve been going to this coffee shop for the past couple of years and it’s seriously such a gem. My mom and I absolutely love it, genuinely the best coffee shop I’ve gone to (and I even went abroad for four months!). The coffee is amazing, the pastries are delicious, and the staff is so friendly. If you haven’t gone here yet, go!! :))

This coffee shop is a hidden gem. Their coffee is delicious! We got the vanilla latte and blueberry lavender matcha. If you like your latte on the sweeter side make sure you let them know. We also ordered their cinnamon rolls, they’re made by a local baker and are sooo fresh and yummy! Love the atmosphere as well; they have lots of seating. Rachel helped us and she was so friendly and helpful with choosing coffee and also referred us to their seasonal menu. She was a delight! We love this coffee shop from their coffee and bakery items to their great customer service..you won’t be disappointed!
